A lesson covering the historical and cultural context of Social Realism, specifically focusing on Diego Rivera.

A lesson focusing on artistic perception. Students will learn how to analyze a piece of Diego Rivera's work and have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. 

A lesson focused on learning the skills necessary to execute the mural assignment in the creative expression lesson. The students will transfer a drawing using the grid method. 

Students will execute a social issue mural assignment in groups. 

Students will work in groups to evaluate the success of the social issue murals. They will demonstrate knowledge of aesthetic valuing by participating in a critique.
